Rebecca Waxman is a licensed Realtor® in Louisiana and specializes in residential real estate sales. Rebecca is a 3rd generation New Orleanian with roots deeply planted in the community and culture. She has a passion and love of architecture and the stories that can only be told in New Orleans historical homes, much like the 130-year-old home she grew up in.
Upon graduating high school from Newman, Rebecca went on to the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Spanish. After college, Rebecca moved to New York City to pursue a career in retail and worked at Macy's Inc. for 7 years. During her time at Macy's Rebecca worked as a buyer and digital merchandiser in which she mastered digital marketing and data analytics. Rebecca loved living and working in New York but always knew she was destined to come back to New Orleans. Her first real estate spark started as a summer internship and she quickly discovered that a career in real estate matched her passion and skill set perfectly.
Outside of work Rebecca enjoys giving back to the community she loves. She is an active board member of Lighthouse Louisiana, and a member of National Council of Jewish Women. In her free time Rebecca can often be found at early morning estate sales and flea markets. She resides Uptown with her husband Michael and rescue dog Lucas.
