REALTOR®

Born in New York and transplanted in Mississippi gave Colleen the opportunity to experience the bustle of big city life as well as the slower pace of small-town living. After college at the University of Southern Mississippi, Colleen relocated again in the mid-1970s, this time to New Orleans, where she was employed as a flight attendant for a national airline. She met her husband, Louis, and a few years later they married and had two daughters. Since 1990, Colleen has been helping sellers and buyers successfully transition from one phase of home ownership to the next. Whether putting a house on the market or helping a buyer find the right home, she’s guided them through the search process, the showing process, the inspection process, the loan process and the closing process. She’s experienced and resolved “worst-case” scenarios, including fire, flooding and divorce of the owners while properties were on the market. Colleen has worked with national relocation companies in transferring clients both in and out of the Greater New Orleans area, the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain, and Baton Rouge. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her three grandchildren.

“Colleen was a godsend for us in our search for a house. We relied greatly on her knowledge of the market and her expertise in dealing with sellers their agents. She knew the important questions to ask about the properties we looked at and eventually purchased. She was a strong advocate for us in negotiations and there was never a doubt she had our best interests in mind. I cannot imagine a better agent in the New Orleans area to work with than Colleen Vergona.” - Culpepper & Denise C. | Buyers

“When I listed my house, I told you I didn’t like doing business with real estate agents and insurance people. You changed my mind about real estate agents.” - James T. | Seller
